Larry Miller

Larry Miller was the director of business operations for the Global Drug Discovery division of GlaxoSmithKline (GSK).  Prior to working with the Global Drug Discovery Division, Dr. Miller was the Director of the New Drugs for Diseases of Aging program. He also served as director of operations and communications for the Metabolic Diseases Discovery division at GSK and as head of communications for the U.S. research division of Glaxo Wellcome, prior to the company's merger with Smith Kline Beecham Pharmaceuticals. Larry has more than 13 years of experience in internal and external communications including web interfaces, video production, multimedia training materials, newsletters and brochures. He has represented GSK and the pharmaceutical trade organization, PhRMA, in presentations before U.S. senators and members of Congress, local and state health administrators, physicians, patient groups, investors and foreign officials. He holds a Ph.D. degree in biochemistry from UCLA.
